Our campsite is located close to the river Driva ( 6 km south of Oppdal), and to the nationalpark at Dovrefjell. The distance from the city of Trondheim is 120 km. In the winter Oppdal is a popular resort for alpine skiers and cross country skiers. Our surroundings include one of the most spectacular mountains in Norway, also well known for the musk-ox who live here. We can arrange a “safari” for one or more persons. Our surroundings are perfect for hiking. The campsite is also a base for rafting tours in one of Norway’s most popular rafting rivers. There are splendid possibilities for daytrips by car to visit some of Norways beautiful fjords and coastal landscapes, well within an hour’s drive.
