1. What data do we collect?

During regular use of nafcamp.no we don't collect any person identifiable data. Your partially anonymized IP address is briefly used to look up the Country you're visiting from but is not stored.

If you purchase any of the products from our store, the following data is collected:

  • Your name
  • Your email
  • Your address - including streetname/-number, city/area code and country
  • For CCI (Camping Card) additional passport related information (such as passport ID and date/place of birth) is collected for validation and fraud prevention purposes.

Additionally our payment provider (NETS Norway) needs to collect the following data to be able to process your payment:

  • Your payment card number
  • The payment card expiry date
  • Your IP address (for fraud prevention)

2. How do we collect your data?

During regular use, information is collected by our own statistics and advertising solutions - both of which use cookies to save visitation information across multiple sessions.

For shop interactions and purchases, your data is collected when you submit the forms during the checkout process.

3. How will we use your data?

  • To optimize the quality of our service
  • To allow us to properly show you ads for our camping partners and their services
  • To enable us to fulfill any orders you may place with us
  • Your partially anonymized IP address is used to look up which Country you're visiting from, and information about your IP-address is discarded immediately from our systems.
  • Using our shop, your personal data enable us to fulfill your order and are used for this purpose exclusively. The collected personal data is automatically anonymized no later than 2 months after the order has been fulfilled or until any outstanding disputes (such as refund claims etc) have been resolved. None of your data are stored permanently in user profiles etc. - so for any subsequent purchases, you'll have to re-enter your personal information.
